Weekly Roundup: Week 1 of Powerful with Tasha 10-Day Challenge!

Good morning FB Family!

My brand new 10-day challenge, Powerful with Tasha, comes out on Sunday, September 29th! This challenge was designed as a follow-up to two of my other challenges, Faster with Tasha (5 days) and Build with Tasha (10 days). We’ll focus on improving our strength (muscle force production) and power (the speed with which we apply this force during a designated amount of time) with a combination of strength and power workouts, cardio endurance, HIIT, and core training. 

Let’s take a look at the workout focuses for week #1 of training (links will go live on the day of the video release): 

During this first week of training, you’ll experience repeating elements of strength and power training throughout the first four workouts in preparation for the concluding level 5 total body workout. Bring along your moderately heavy to heavy weight selections relative to the body part focus(es) of the workout, but know that the workout formatting and exercise sequencing could affect your typical challenging weight choices. The structural complexity combined with the inclusion of power-forward exercises makes this challenge most appropriate for the intermediate/advanced exerciser who has experience with consistent weight training as well as some familiarity with power moves. Nonetheless, I include modifications and movement alternatives to make the challenge accessible to as many folks as possible!
