It’s been awhile since I posted in here. I used to post a lot because I was worried about my kids and their mental and physical health. Things are looking up and I just wanted to post an update here!
My 21 year old is doing better mentally and is moving out soon. Physically he is still not doing great and is having some health problems but of course at this age there’s nothing I can do about it.
My 18 year old decided to join marching band senior year of high school! She is doing better all around and marching band is great exercise.
My 16 year old loves going to the gym and her mental health is doing much better.
My 8 year old is thriving. He doesn’t like exercise much but I just tell him he has to be in Cub Scouts and a sport. He chooses baseball and I make sure he practices playing catch everyday.
I’m living the good like as a teacher in summer break. I started the break thinking that I would go full force with FB. But then as the weeks went on it was feeling like such a chore and I was dreading my workouts. I’ve been incredibly consistent with exercise for many years now and one of the reasons I can stay consistent is because I’m realistic about breaks. So I decided to let myself take a break from FB. Instead, I’ve been biking everyday. I’m probably loosing muscle mass from not doing any strength, but I don’t care. The bike rides are making me happy. I’ve stayed with FB since 2016 and taking breaks a few times a year has been really helpful. I know that I’ll get back to FB soon!
