HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group July 30th

Good very early Tuesday morning! I woke up around 2am and couldn’t fall back asleep. It’s going to be a long day. And you know it’s going to be a hot and humid one when it’s 30°C/86°F at 3am with the humidex factor.

David will be returning to work today. I know that he will be exhausted after his first day back, working in apartments where there’s no AC, so I will cook supper during my lunch hour (before it gets unbearably hot), to let him rest and cool down after work. I also need to do something with overripe peaches that we won’t have time to eat before they go bad. Maybe a crumble, something easy.

David got the results from the sleep apnea test that he did on Thursday and we were not surprised to hear that he has a severe case of it. The results came from the sleep clinic, so he has to wait for our doctor to contact him and write out a prescription for a CPAP machine. We can only hope that our insurance will cover a big chunk of the 2000$+ bill🤞

My goal today is to go walk early before work, and to do a Kettlebell challenge workout before noon, trying to beat the heat. I’ve been eating on plan and drinking plenty of water these past couple of days, so at least I’m getting back into some of my healthy habits. What will this day look like for you?
