R3: Day 36 of Not Eating Out

Hello! The last time I posted, I was going to do the FB Meal Plan.

But I decided to not do it because I realized that it's too hot to eat a lot of the foods.

For some reason, I never end up finishing mushrooms within a week. Same with berries. I like the idea of smoothies - I love cold drinks in the summer, but I haven't been making smoothies. I literally have all the ingredients - Greek yogurt, protein powder, frozen fruit, normal fruit, spinach, etc... Unsure about mushrooms in smoothies, but I think that the goal was to have mushrooms with eggs, which I never have time to make in the morning.

I'm leaning towards doing a breakfast for dinner thing - so an egg sandwich for dinner, then deli sandwich for lunch.

As weird as it sounds, I just really like sandwiches right now. It's 100+ degrees and I've no interest in making food instead of a stove. I like the idea of seasonal meals rather than eating things that I feel like I should be making.

I'm going to try smoothies and sandwiches for the next week!

What are your favorite recipes for when it's too hot outside? I like the idea of chilled salmon and just eating cold food in general; I tried hot soup over the weekend and couldn't finish.
