HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group June 28th

Hello, lovelies, and Happy Friday! How is everyone doing? First off, thank you all for the positive messages last week around my body image struggles. I hope I replied to everyone but my brain is making it hard for me to go back and check.

June is almost over, how dare she? Summer is in full swing here, Sunday should see us getting to 34 degrees! Luckily, Monday should bring some cooler weather and some rain. The constant sunshine and heat is making me lethargic. People often complain about certain cultures' lack of punctuality but I recently realized that the cultures who most value punctuality are usually in cooler climates. Would I really value being on time at, say, 2 PM, if the weather were always 30+ degrees? Doubtful, I'd probably never go out to be honest.

Today is the company summer party. I say party, but with over 3000 employees in my city, they just organize a mini festival for everybody, with music and food trucks. I would like to go because I love the main band but I have no team members here since they are all in Poland and Adrian is exhausted from a full week of workshops, so it is still up in the air.

For any followers of Eurovision, you might know these guys, they're lots of fun and a lot of their music has turned into classic party hits around here and what they're doing is pretty unique:

Anyway, we'll see. Also meeting some friends for dinner tomorrow. We haven't seen each other in a while so I'm excited to catch up.

In terms of workouts, I will finish Burn next week but I am undecided as to what to do next. Maybe one of the Sweat programs? I don't have the mental capacity for freestyling, that's for sure. My 8k steps/day is coming along as well, currently sitting at 8.5k steps/day for June.

Speaking of steps and adventuring, for fans of The Amazing Race you might enjoy these three nerds play tag across Europe, while doing silly challenges. I was initially skeptical, but it got me hooked pretty fast, the guys are funny and play well off each other. The concept would be fun to do around a city as well, I think:

The series where they played Hide and Seek across Switzerland was also fun. The moral of the story is that trains are the best:

Ok, I've rambled enough. Let me know what is up with you all and have a great day and a restful weekend!
