New Workout! All-Standing Weighted Core

Hey FB Fam!

Coming to you today with a brand new standing core routine:

All-Standing Weighted Core

This workout errs on the side of non-traditional, as we won’t be on the mat doing crunches, planks, or other things you might typically find. However, this is still very effective (not to mention wrist-friendly since we’re always on our feet!). 

Instead of the more traditional abs exercises, we play with stability and balance which challenges our deep core stabilizers, obliques, glutes, hips, and low back. As you can see, we’re targeting ALL areas surrounding the core and pelvis. One of my favorite movements in this was the Sumo Stance Rotation. Something about it fired up my obliques like never before! 

Just so you’re in the loop! I am due with my third baby in November 2024! I was 18 weeks pregnant at the time of filming this and these exercises felt great! While this is not a prenatal workout, this would still be suitable for many pregnant people in their second trimester. Check with your medical provider if you’re unsure!

And, since our workouts do not always release in order of creation, you can expect to see some pre-pregnancy workouts along with a mix of body shapes and sizes from me over the next several months :)
