HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group June 15th

Good Saturday middle-of-the-month morning! We are enjoying cool temperatures and a nice breeze this morning. But this will be short-lived as a heat wave is coming next week.

I’ve been struggling this past week with staying within my caloric range. I am eating on plan all day but will always eat something extra at or after supper. Yesterday it was peanuts, the day before it was a bowl of cereal. I think it’s due to not sleeping well and feeling tired. I tend to overeat when that happens, no doubt due to my hunger hormones being out of whack. I just have to be mindful and strike the right balance.

So what’s on your calendar for today? I have to walk roughly 3.2km each day this weekend to reach the weekly goal for the Amazing Race challenge. And I have to do at least 30 minutes of cardio, as the Roadblock. Later tonight, we might go see a free outdoor concert, an hommage to Queen with an orchestra and Marc Martel singing. I find that he is the singer which most sounds like Freddie Mercury, his voice was used in the Bohemian Rhapsody movie.
