Frozen Shoulder

sorry this turned into a long post! ❤️

i haven't posted in awhile but back in 2021 some of you may remember i had sciatica on my right side. i went through PT and followed all instructions and by the end was basically working out in the office. she's like -i think you're done here ha!

well i dont injure myself often but when i do, i do a good job 😂

several months ago i came home from work put my laptop bag over my right shoulder and opened my outside porch door. the wind took it and pulled my arm back - resulting in serious pain in my arm. ever since then any reaching motion- into the dryer, onto a store shelf made my upper arm hurt and my ROM was limited and getting worse. waited until we could request days off again and went to see pcp

she says the dreaded R word and im like nooo. does an xray which shows nothing. insurance(who i work for even!) wont pay for mri until i get PT - so she gives me a referral to the sports medicine dr. he does all the manipulatons, even gives me a shot of lidocaine and cortisone and my ROM is still limited - he says its frozen shoulder and PT it is.

first appointment saturday. so far ive heard its painful to come back from but doable.

whats everyones experiences with this?
