Perspiration Pals 13 June 2024

Hello there, Pals! It was supposed to be sunny today so I’m wearing summer clothes. Fortunately, I’ve lost the ability to be cold so I feel fine. The sky is grey and I hear pheasants from the small jungle behind the building. At first I had no idea what they were but one of my colleagues lives in a village=closer to nature and she told me they were pheasants.

Anyway, I’ve just asked for a day off from my boss and hopefully I get it because I badly need it plus I also need to visit my GP. I did a five-flame routine with Tasha this morning and it didn’t involve dumbbells but apparently my arm didn’t like it because it’s sore now. And not in a good way. On the other hand, the routine did involve push ups so at least I could practise those. I saw an annoying video yesterday. I guy was walking around asking people if they could do push ups and then he place this push button on the ground which they had to touch with their chest. Two women volunteered and apparently they couldn’t do push ups. Who on this lovely earth made this utterly silly rule that your chest needs to touch the ground when doing push ups?? I hereby establish a new rule. If your form is good but chest doesn’t touch the floor when you lower yourself down you can still say you can do push ups. There.

Let’s move on to our fact-finder fragment. Did you know that Canada is the World's Most Educated Country: over half its residents have college degrees? Canada's population density is among the lowest in the world, at 3.7 inhabitants per sq km (9.6/sq mi). (That’s my kind of country.)

All right, Pals, I need to go now as it’s really busy here. Again.

PS, that’s my Mum’s cactus.
