Daily Check-in: Monday, May 27th

Well hey there, Blenderz!

How are you? Are you one of the lucky ducks enjoying the long holiday weekend? Happy Memorial Day (and the unofficial start to summer) to you either way!

Before we get too deep into this Mondaze, I want to give a big 'ol thanks to Shabnam for some wonderful weekend ghosting!! Always a pleasure.

And again, many thanks many times over to Kim for keeping the past two weeks going strong. I hope things slow down for you and you can get some rest and relaxation, my friend!

Anyway, where are we at now, Blendfriendz? Rest, work, something else? ..I'll be finding a workout to do in a bit here. Maybe a cardio and core from Nicole or the latest from Tasha. Decisions, decisions. But what about you?

And what about food? I'm a big I don't know flavored person over here. Coffee's good for now.

Picture I have is of a random sunset with some pecan tree leaves on the left. Always love me a good sunset or sunrise. So I hope you do too.

And guys, I just want to share something that has been weighing on me. Last week actually wasn't that great. One of my parents best friends passed away. She lived a long and full life, but kept her failing health hidden until near the very end. So it just feels like it came on quickly. It makes me sad/upset that she didn't ask for help sooner. But she was always that way. In some ways, she was like another grandmother to me. She will be missed and I'm heartbroken for her elderly husband. ..Oddly enough, she passed on the anniversary of my grandmother's passing. So that was a real f***ed up day and had/has me out of sorts.

I'll be okay tho. I can and do want to host. Pulling from Coby's words a couple weeks ago, the normal things just help sometimes. And being here with you all is nice and feels right. :)
