Weekend Check-in: Saturday May 18th

Good morning my Fitness Blender friends! I hope it finds you well, whatever time of day it is for you.

So yes, this is my first time ghosting and I'm going to admit it actually took me several minutes to even figure out how to go through posting something! I almost never start a post, I only reply to them 🤦‍♀️. No worries....I'm here....I think.

We had a huge storm go through last night. We have a metal roof and it rained so hard it was like sitting in front of a TV with white sound on full blast. I don't know how everyone else slept through it! We woke up to blinking clocks so we must've lost power at some point. At least it was back on by morning so I could make my coffee!

I'm sitting here with said coffee looking at my calendar for my workout. I think I'm going to try and get to day 17 I jumped over yesterday if I can. How are you guys moving your bodies today? I'm envisioning a lot of functional movement if the weather is nice, but let us know!!

Food tonight will be grilled steak, chicken, BBQ shrimp, and veggies (zucchini, brussel sprouts, onions, and mushrooms). It looks like a lot, but my son doesn't like steak and we're not wasting it on him so there's chicken. Plus, it all makes for great salad toppers for lunches 😉. I wish I could invite everyone over, but what are you guys having?

As if I haven't rambled enough, I've been curious about something ever since Raven brought up the 6 year anniversary of this check-in. How long have you guys been checking in? I personally am a newbie compared to the rest of you having only been here for 9 months, though reading longer than that. I love having this safe space to come and "hang out" with you guys. I genuinely enjoy our interactions and the developing friendships.
