HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group May 18th

Good Saturday morning! It feels like summer here and this weather will last for a few days. More laundry will be hung outside today, a true pleasure for me at this time of year.

I apologize in advance for talking yet again my health woes, but I now have to add a sore throat from probable mouth breathing and sleep apnea. It started on Thursday night, and this morning, my snoring woke me up and my throat felt like it was closing. David tells me that I rarely snore and it has never been this loud. I have to find relief for my achy throat and will try and sleep in a half-sitting position over the next few nights.

It feels like a new health issue arises each week. But I have to remember that I am taking steps to resolve my problems, and to not let myself be overwhelmed and depressed. I have an appointment for a 24-hour blood pressure test at the end of the month, I’m waiting on the results of the X-ray for my foot/ankle and I have an appointment for a sleep apnea test in August. And I’m lucky that I now have a family doctor to call upon when I need it.

Anyway, I’ve sort of let everything go over the past couple of days, having a pity party of sorts, but it’s time to get back to my routine. Eating on plan, drinking plenty of water, cleaning up and working out will help with all of my issues, physical and mental. What have you planned for today?

Wishing everyone a wonderful day! 🙂
