Hey there! I’m stoked to share more about the 10-day challenge I’ve been hinting at!
Following the release of the 5-day Barre Basics Series, it was cool to see your interest in wanting to see more barre content to supplement your other favorite training types. So without further ado…
Coming soon will be a 10-day challenge combining barre training and traditional strength training! Low-impact cardio will be woven in throughout the workouts and each week will include a workout with a mobility and stretching emphasis. Large and small muscles will work in a variety of ways to improve strength, build and maintain lean muscle mass, enhance balance and coordination as well as overall performance.
Here are some quick details:
2 weeks long, 5 workouts/week
Level 3 and 4 difficulty
The time needed for each workout will be about 45 minutes (give or take a few). One day each week will be shorter due to its active recovery nature.
Warm-ups, cool-downs, and modifications included
Equipment: mat, range of dumbbells, and a barre (sturdy chair or countertop that comes to waist height)
Fusing these two different yet similar training types makes for a well-rounded training approach where your body feels strong and capable in multiple ways! Who can’t wait to join me?!
P.S. - if this interests you and you plan to participate in the challenge, I very highly recommend (aka, I wish I could require it 😉) to first complete the 5-day Barre Basics Series if you haven’t already. Those 5 workouts will lay the groundwork, terminology, and key postures for barre so you’re able to feel confident and get the most out of your time spent doing the 10DC!
New 10DC from Erica Coming Soon!
