Hello there again all you lovely blenderbuddies, it’s me 👻ing today and tomorrow. This, for me in the UK, morning finds me with a cup of coffee getting this post off the ground. It looks dull outside and not very inviting. Have you seen spring in your neck of the woods yet? Or autumn for those of us in the southern hemisphere? Some daffodils are out, magnolias, bluebells, so yes signs of spring here, but temps are still low…
Right: workouts? Yep, no, maybe, no idea yet? For me it’s the latter: no idea yet. I haven’t got anything planned so I am hoping to be inspired by you, whether you are moving or not. A seaswim might be on the cards…
Food: well yes, of course, but as usual no idea at all. My turn to cook and I have, actually, just this very minute as I am typing this, had the thought: I could do a “Raven Friday” tonight, yes, homemade pizza sounds very attractive at the moment. What’s cooking for you? Or should I ask who’s cooking for you?
Quick question that just came up while I was doing my usual bad typing on my phone: do you use a computer to checkin? Or a tablet or phone? Do you type many mistakes while you are typing? Do you use all your fingers or just one or two? Silly questions I know: feel totally free to ignore my nosiness!! I type on my phone with one finger and LOADS of mistakes that I always need to go back to 😱🙈🤭🤣.
Last but not least (and I promised you yesterday: no cloudscape pictures!) a photo for you. I call it an “aaah” picture. My son sent it yesterday and it brought an instant smile to my face and a loud “aaah”! They are grandbaby’s first pair of “shoes”! It’s like Ingeborg’s picture the other week of the crocheted baby sneakers, instant “aaah”, right?!?! Do you have any “aaah” photos to share?
Edited after my seaswim this morning: just been reminded of how careful you have to be when winter swimming… I had my first bout of brain fog just now. Weird feeling, but confirms the fact that you should always be aware of your time in the sea in winter! I stayed in 8 minutes, which may have been a tad long at 6.5 degrees. If I give funny/weird responses today, you’ll know why!! Mind you, the hotter than hot shower just now made me feel perfectly ok again.
Saturday 16-3-24 👻checkin
