Yesterday evening I was doing Roamblender with a friend. We always run from one spot and do some exercises to the next spot to do more exercises and so on.
Yesterday I upped the tempo of our in between runs… no particular reason, I just felt like it. My friend broke her ankle in July, but has now fully recovered, so we were both really enjoying our running spurts.
At one point, we were pushing against a tree, a beautiful one at that, as an isometric upper body exercise and I thought: “look at me, how many 66 year olds could have done all this tonight?” Just feeling happy and blessed that I can do all this!! Then this morning I saw the above in our newspaper….🤣🤣🤣
Coincidence, right? But certainly true for me! I have “sped up” and love being so strong, healthy and fit.
What about you? I hope the above encourages you to keep going strong in your fitness journey!
BTW the article just confirmed what FB has been advocating for years.
In the reply: my friend pushing the beautiful tree!!
Coincidence?! In the paper today…
