HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group December 2nd
Good second day of December! I’m hoping to actually see this month go by, compared to November, which was just a blur.
It has rained all night here. I say better rain than snow. But they say we may get up to 25cm of snow tomorrow night. We shall see.
What have you planned for the day? Anything fun and exciting on your calendar for the weekend? If the rain lets up, we’ll go to a Christmas market later today. There are so many to choose from, all within driving distance. I’m hoping to find some warm doughnuts and hot chocolate.
Other than that, I will continue the Booty challenge, after constantly rescheduling the second week. And I think that I will need a nap at some point, as I slept badly due to a nostril constantly closing up, and feeling sore from yesterday’s upper body workout. I’ve only done one other EMOM-style workout before and was discouraged when I couldn’t get through all of the reps quickly enough to rest before the next minute, but this one was within my reach and I really enjoyed it.
I’ve set some goals for December: increase my walking distance to 2km per day minimum, work out 3 times per week minimum, and be in a calorie deficit at least 26 days this month. I’m giving myself a few days to enjoy Holiday foods, which I think is a sustainable approach. But really, my true goal is to be consistent this month, because other than walking regularly, I was all over the place last month.
