Focused primarily on the upper body, we start with 20 minutes of upper body strength training, working all major muscle groups. Then we end with 11 minutes of total body cardio kickboxing. All in all, we see themes of strength, cardio, and power! Your warm-up and cool-down are also included along with modification reminders (lifting lighter weights, moving with less power/speed when needed, etc.).
This is one of those workouts that took some extra mental coordination for me (mainly speaking to the kickboxing). And that’s okay! We often have opportunities to learn and grow more readily when we step outside our comfort zone :)
