Hello Pals! Sorry about not getting back to you yesterday but I only have a couple of hours after work to make dinner, get ready for the next day, maybe do some chores etc.. But you don’t need introduction to adulting because you already know all about it. Especially if you have kids and pets too.
The weather is still nice and cool albeit rather moist which means that I have crazy hair. By crazy I mean ugly, which is OK because it’s been like that for over two weeks now so I’m almost used to it by now.
I did Day 4 of Strong 3 but instead of the scheduled routines (I wanted to work out with Daniel but his routine was too long) I chose one of Brian’s. Partly because I haven’t done it before but also because it’s in the Goldilocks zone. Not too short and not too long. It definitely woke me up.
And now over to our fact finder fragment. A colleague of mine told me that the colour pink has become really popular at nail salons (probably the Barbie movie effect) and it got me thinking. Is pink a ‘real’ colour? It’s certainly not in the rainbow but neither is brown. Pink isn’t in the rainbow because it’s created by mixing red and violet; therefore, pink can’t exist because red and violet don’t meet within the rainbow. But as biologist Timothy H. Goldsmith put it: “Color is not actually a property of light or of objects that reflect light. It is a sensation that arises within the brain.” Do you have any colour preferences? I’m partial to dark green and blue. Apart from royal blue perhaps.
What annoys me though, is pink dumbbells. I mean a five-kilo dumbbell is a five-kilo dumbbell regardless of the colour but apparently women need pink dumbbells because we wouldn’t be able to lift the black ones... Anyway, I have black and blue dumbbells. 😊
All right, Pals, I must go now, have a nice sunshiny day. Unless it’s too hot.
