Ive started to be more active over a month ago when my chronic back issues finally subsided. Started going on walks and this month even hikes and FB and non FB workouts.
The results are astonishing. I feel incredible right after exercise, I appreciate what my body can do, and Im working on implementing regular exercise into my schedule. I feel better overall, have more energy and more motivation to eat clean.
I havent lost weight I think, and I dont really want to, but Im working on getting stronger.
Another progress indicator is my VO2 max parameter that my garmin watch tracks. It went from "fitness age" 37 to 25 (Im 26). Im taking the results with a grain of salt but the progress is huge. Its more difficult to go even further now (Id like to get into green numbers) but Ill get there.
Please feel free to share your experience with getting back to exercise after a serious injury, might give me some good insights. 😊
