Hi all, so I have been an avid exerciser for years now, enjoying home workouts/gym/weights and running. I'm looking to build up more muscle but I have less time now due to having a very young family, and my current commitments and working patterns etc means its not as easy as it used to be to fit everything in! I do really enjoy running, but its eating into time I want to to put towards more weights work for my goal of building more muscle mass, and I know I'm not getting the full benefits of following a FB programme as the sessions are so sporadic. I have a real mental block though about giving up running as I feel really quite sad actually about losing my cardio fitness, which running has enabled me to really build up well. I just dont know if the hiit workouts in the FB programmes will be enough to replace my current cardio fitness. Has anyone else struggled with this block, and if you did eventually swap running for more FB workouts, what changes did you experience?
Benefits after ditching running?
