hey there folks,
how are we doing this Sunday? we are (already) at the end of week 1 of this year and it just zoomed past us.
For today's quote, i chose something from my own experience this past week. I had written on P Pals Friday that we had a departmental seminar with overnight stay at a resort outside city. the main attraction of this resort are the various types of hot therapy pools + multiple saunas. we were specifically recommended to carry our swimsuits with us. as you can imagine, i was quite anxious about all this. with friends, it's okay. but with work colleagues? but i did pack my swimsuit and guess what i decided to try it out if i had some company. super anxious before, but super happy later. it really took me out of my comfort zone, but really it was so much fun, and i realized i wouldn't have known if i hadn't tried that it wasn't a big deal at all. it looks like this will become an annual ritual for us, so i am happy i could gel in.
how about you? have you had any such experiences where social anxiety troubled you a lot but once you got beyond your comfort zone, you felt okay? and what did you tell yourself to move beyond your comfort zone?
anywho, for workouts, i will start with week 2 of Strong 3. I am so sore -quads, glutes, inner thighs, back, shoulder -basically everywhere after a 66min Tasha workout 2 days ago. so, while it says LB workout for today, i might do tomorrow's UB workout today.
