Hello and good vibe greetings to you, my Blender Fam!
I would like to kick things off with thanking my fantastic co-host, Kim, for as always; keeping the check-in flame lit nice and bright.
And also many thanks to Inge for taking the weekend reins for a couple lovely check-ins. Thank you! :)
So, my Blenderz, How was your weekend? Splendid in some way I hope! And if you celebrated Christmas, I also hope you had a nice holiday. Even with no holiday celebrations, the good vibe wishes remain. I had a pleasant and relaxing weekend with the family and furbabies. Well felt after a few days of dashing around like a mad (yet surprisingly still sane) woman.
A lot of that dashing involved protecting plants and things from the cold. I know blizzards and snowstorms are happening and I hope everyone and animal is and stays safe. As for here, it was 17 F (-8C) on Christmas morning. Yep, I think winter has finally found its way to Florida and I'm not that thrilled about it, lol.
But to find the positive in an icy situation, I got some cool (pun always intended) morning photos out of it. Hence we have some frosty Winged Sumac donning its festive colors.
Anyway, I suppose we should talk about workouts. I was gifted some kettlebells (yay!!) yesterday, so naturally I think I want to tackle a total body kettlebell workout. Just not sure which one what yet...
..But in speaking of workouts and total body, me and a few other Blenderz (thanks to Kristina for throwing the idea out there) will be participating in a year end 1000 calorie workout party! So really any day from now and until the new year we are picking any one of those delcious 1k workouts of your choice and ending the year with sweat and no doubt sweet satisfaction. Feel free to join in on the fun and share your victory with a picture or post to celebrate! As a Blender, what better way to end the year, right? I look forward to tackling one later down the week, but if you have your eye on one today or later, good luck, guys and remember that modifications are always there to help. The point is to have fun and enjoy (endure?!) torching calories with friends.
Okay, just talking about burning calories has me hungry. What of the food, Blendiez? I'm always circling around I don't know, but given the artic(ish) air, I think some sort of soup is in order! Done and sold on that!
Alright, before I go, shout out to Adrienne because today is her birthday. Happy birthday, Adrienne! I hope you have a nice day with your kitties and doggos!
