Howdy all. Welcome to the Monday PPals thread and the burning question of the day - where the he...ck did the weekend go?
Mine was kind of hectic with Christmas shopping, meal prepping, decorating (finally got a tree) and, yesterday, a birthday party for my grandmother who will turn 90 next month ❤. Oh and shoveling last night. Yes, it finally snowed so I'm very happy. So is Remy. I'll attach some pictures below.
As far as workouts this weekend, yesterday I did Kayla's lower body corrective workout and loved it. Saturday didn't go as well. I got frustrated by my inability to do a yoga pose and threw in the towel. They say getting started is the hardest part of working out when you're not feeling it and usually that's true for me. I'll get into my workout gear, roll out the mat and find I'm enjoying myself. But there have been times when it doesn't work that way and I give up and feel pretty crappy about it. Does that ever happen to you or do you absolutely push through no matter what?
So, instead of finishing that yoga video I took a nap with Cheeky. Turns out what my body needed in that instance was more sleep. After finishing Kayla's workout yesterday I managed to pick up the yoga where I left off and mark it complete.
Whether you battle through your workout like a warrior today or rest like a champ, I wish you a good day ahead and hope to hear all about it below.
