HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group December 12th 😴

Hello Blendfriends and welcome to another week! As the days grow shorter, holiday lights are shining brighter than ever, I hope you find joy in them. After spending 11 days at my mom's house, I returned home, and to work this week. The first day back was a long meeting with about 40 people, followed up by the office Christmas party. Maybe there's no link, but now I have a terrible cold. All I want to do today is to take Walt Whitman's sage advice : "Rest and be thankful."

I rested most of the day Saturday, and felt much better on Sunday. Well enough to go out, which was probably a mistake, because afterwards I felt much worse. I'm writing this up on Sunday night, because I have no idea what kind of shape I'll be in, Monday morning... I may need to rest. But I am also thankful! Thankful for negative COVID tests and especially thankful that I did't bring these germs to my mom, to my sister or to her husband when I was staying with them. But I do hope I can start working out again soon... I miss my weights!
