We're already midway October again, the year is flying by at a speedy pace. Here in my part of the world, we're well in to Autumn and we have the weather accordingly, meaning rain, fog and lower temperatures. I love this time of year, where everything and everybody seem to go at a slower pace.
A slower pace is exactly how to describe my Saturday. You all know me well enough by now that I don't need to tell you anymore that I'm having a rest day, but I'm still dying to know what you ladies are up to today workout wise. Are you huffing and puffing, trying to stretch that resistance band a bit wider or are you having a nice restorative workout? Or maybe you're just having a quiet, relaxing day. Whichever it is, throw it in the group!!
And what about food? Are you cooking? Eating out? Popping something in the oven or microwave? Fill me in and maybe you'll give me some ideas, 'cause I haven't got a clue yet what to eat.
Let's see, I think I've got everything covered here... nope, I've got a picture for you as well. We were on our way yesterday to pick up a parcel when I saw these mushrooms at the side of the road. I looked them up on Google and if correct - Anne, help me out here - they are called Lawyer's Wig. Cute little things...
And believe it or not, but this picture gets me to my question in a round about way. You see, the parcel we were picking up was something I bought on Vinted. I guess you're all familiar with this site? So my question is actually:
Do you sometimes buy something on sites like Vinted? Or a thrift store? Or are you the kind of person that likes things sparkly new?
Me, I'm a bit in between. I like sparkly new for bigger things like household stuff (TV, computers, etc), but I like to rummage around the Vinted site for bits and bops for a good price. Not that I buy a lot, but it's great to sniff around a bit. Yuna's introduced me to it last year when she was into 'bompie sweaters' (granddad sweaters) she'd like as a Christmas present. She pointed out they were really cheap on Vinted and that I should take a look because there were also lots of other things to find.
So, how about you? As always feel free to skip the question and just tell us how you're going about your day.
Thanks for reading and have a great day everyone!!!🥰
