“Let us develop respect for all living things. Let us try to replace violence and intolerance with understanding and compassion. And love.” ~Jane Goodall
For me, the quote is a lifelong journey. I believe some individuals naturally come prepped for understanding, compassion, and love. I’m still learning it. (Love FB and friends.)
This is a North American elk. Apparently, there are six subspecies, but I have no clue about this guy. We are at a friend’s cabin, so I can get a quiet writing day in tomorrow.
There is also a little grey fox who “barked” at me when I opened the door. I closed the door quickly. Ugh, also looked up and saw the bugs on the ceiling.
I think I will try Haley’s guided meditation walk. Anyone want to be an exercise twin this weekend? Other exercise plans?
I brought my oatmeal for breakfast, and we will cheat and go out for dinner. There is also a bag of chocolate covered almonds that will be gone before we return home. A huge weakness the almonds.
What are your food plans? Fun baking? Recipes to share? It’s soup season.
I love hearing from friends old and new. Know that you are welcome in PPals. Thanks Kristina for hosting yesterday.
