HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group October 13th

Hello everyone.

"Your intellect may be confused, but your emotions will never lie to you." - Roger Ebert

No apparent reason for this quote, just that I thought it's a good one. It's that gut feeling too, which is sane to listen to. (Reminder to myself!) + a pic of cat feet because they're cute and maybe help someone smile.

So. It's Thursday, we're halfway through this week, how has it been going for you so far? I know several frequent HKS posters are not in the easiest place right now, so a shout-out to them. Hang in there. And check in here for support if you want/need to. 🌼

(If you're not a frequent poster, you're just as welcome here to share what exercise you're doing, and anything else that's on your mind.)

Speaking of shouting… I felt like Jane Eyre this past night, when she has just arrived at her new workplace Thornfield Hall, and hears strange sounds in the middle of the night. 👻 One of my neighbors sometimes likes to shout (late) at night. I suspect this person is practicing to become a gibbon… or to win the "most annoying neighbor" award. It really sounds like what I imagine the "lunatic" woman in Jane Eyre to be, who was hidden away in a room and tried to burn the place down at night. Luckily I have a white noise machine, otherwise I'd have gone mad myself. I just want to sleep at night…! 😴😞

OK, so, not feeling very vibrant, and the thought of doing a workout with exercises like push-ups and lunges.. not today. So I take that as a hint from my body and will stick with this one https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/stretching-pilates-yoga-workout-blend-relaxing-stretching-routine-to-relieve-stress-and-back-pain, and maybe a short warm up beforehand. I haven't gotten in a FB workout this week yet due to some curveballs and not feeling 100% physically. Well, it's what it is today.

I'll leave it at this and will try to make some positive changes to feel better today. Might make a healthy pumpkin bread. 🎃

Wishing everyone a tranquil Thursday.
