Nutition Vs. Exercise-How To Balance During Challenges

Hi,

What do you do when you have the best intentions to exercise and your mind and body are really not cooperating? For example, I'm having a back issue so there are a lot of things I can't do right now. I try to just keep going or figure out exercises to replace (I can't do anything that deals with bending forward or that puts pressure on my lower back), but I often panic and can't think of what to do.

Today, even after getting a lot of rest I still feel sluggish and have a headache and I just don't have the focus to lift weights. I'm doing the FB Reboot and today is an upper body strength session.

I must add that I am proud that I have been doing really well with making changes to my nutrition and eating habits like focusing on more plants, less sugar, and refined carbs. I also am making sure to eat regular meals rather than skipping meals for work or only eat drinking coffee. Yet, I feel like unless I work out every single day I"m not making progress.

Am I wrong about that?
