Hello friends and welcome to the Monday PPals thread.
I wasn't entirely sure what day it was until I checked my FB calendar this morning. I did know it was Monday which unfortunately signals my return to work after two weeks of vacation. Even though I did a whole lot of nothing except napping and reading yesterday, I'm feeling much like Pingu above about the whole situation. Especially when I think of all the work I know is waiting for me. But I still have a little less than two hours of glorious freedom left, so let's focus on the good. Did you know today is International Cat Day? I bet the cats in your life or neighborhood did even if you didn't. So be sure to thank a cat today, but only hug it if it seems amenable to that kind of thing.
Back to work means back to early morning workouts. After kayaking and paddle boarding on Saturday and loafing around all day yesterday, I was feeling very stiff this morning so I did a Pilates stretch routine to try and limber up a bit. Let us know below what you're up to today. Anyone starting a new program this Monday? Or maybe taking a long walk? After one more awful, humid day today it looks like we may get a little break starting tomorrow, so I hope to get back to walks soon.
I keep forgetting that I have to go to work, so really I ought to run and jump in the shower and get this day going. I hope to see you below.
Perspiration Pals Monday August 8th
