Alternating between upper and lower body exercises of different training modalities challenges your cardiovascular and skeletal system to quickly adapt to varying degrees of energy demands, thus improving your mind-body connection and overall fitness. Plus, it’s super fun to embrace that “oh my goodness, why are we doing this?” heart pumping feeling. Just me?
You will complete three rounds of five pairs of upper/lower body exercises – no finisher (womp womp). Get acquainted with the exercises during the first round, kick up the intensity during the second round, and give it all you’ve got for the third and final round. With 30-second working intervals, this workout will fly by, I promise! Mind your transitions between exercises and take deep, purposeful breaths throughout to regulate your breathing/heart rate.
Yesterday, I returned to work from a week off feeling refreshed and ready to tackle some more filming very soon. Any ideas about what’s coming next? Suggestions? Are there a few requests for “please don’t even think about filming another one of those?”
I hope you enjoy this workout just as much as I did!
