HKS (Healthy, Kind, Support) Accountability Group June 2nd

Hello everyone.

I was doing much-needed post-grocery shopping therapy yesterday (aka tea, 🍫, foot bath, 📺) when this quote came by. I instantly liked it. Maybe it won’t apply to anything at all times, but personally I could use a bit more of this mindset.

So… it’s June. For me, June = summer. And I can feel the FOMO (fear of missing out) already! Which is NOT good when you try to accept you need to do things at your pace. I want to hide on my yoga mat AND go out and visit places and sometimes socialize…wearing a pink polo shirt. For some reason I am very drawn to them at the moment. 🤷‍♀️ Anyway, trying to balance things makes me anxious.

OK, enough of my silliness/neuroticism. What are your plans for today?

I don’t ask a lot about food, maybe because my appetite is notoriously bad, but are you planning to eat anything new/fancy today? I am looking forward to lunch, which will be a wholewheat pitta with a boiled egg, arugula and some vegetarian chicken salad.

This UB workout is what I’ll attempt today (never done it yet): https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/upper-body-strength-workout-guaranteed-muscle-burnout I saw there are jumping jacks in the warm up (I don’t like those in low-impact workouts because it requires specific sportswear, you know) – I’ll do the high-impact version because I WILL wear my heavy duty sports bra! Ha! 😁

I read there has been planning to keep the HKS thread running without Storm, which is great. I really appreciate anyone hosting (and replying). 💐
