How are you all doing today? How was your weekend?
I hope it was all good! We not only had the wonderful outdoorsy ghosting of our lovely Lea (seriously Lea: great photos, and thank you so much for ghosting!), but it was also Mother's Day on Sunday! I hope if you celebrated, that you felt the love, and know how appreciated you all are!
So here we are at another Monday in May, Blendiez. How are things overall going for you? Workout-wise? Life-wise? Food-wise? Health-wise? General-wise (not a word, but keeps with my theme)?
Things are going ok here. We've been having some pretty nice weather, so we've been getting a lot of things done outside. We got some more fence built, and some chicken pasture planted; and a couple more blueberry plants are in the ground now too.
We're also currently attempting to get hatching eggs from our Dark Cornish and French White Marans chickens. But guys, I think Meatball (our Dark Cornish rooster) is too out of shape to, uh, 'do the deed', as it were. The guy is more interested in food than hens, and gets out of breath far too quickly. Oye. I'm thinking Dark Cornish babies may not happen. Hopefully the big dum-dum can forget about food for 2 seconds and remember that he's a rooster.
Anywho, let's talk workouts for a bit, eh? Since finishing the FF challenge last week, I was considering doing the new Benchmark program; but now I'm thinking about free-lancing for the week. There's several new workouts I wanna try, so I think I'll just go with whatever feels right each day. So today, I think I will do the newest lower body routine with Kelli. I have done that only once, but really liked it, and would like to try it again.
Ok, before I go; here's a random pic for ya. We finally have wildflowers blooming! So here's a yellow trout lily (with bonus photobomb by a fuzzy little bee). I love these flowers. Not only are they gorgeous, but they take 7-8 years to grow and bloom. So they are flower to be very much appreciated, and left alone.
Alrighty then, that's it for me today, Blenderz!
Thank you all so much for checking in with me, and I hope you have a great day!
Take care, Blendfriendz!
