Today is my 1 year stroke anniversary. I can't believe it's been a whole year already. Spent the day with my family. It was nice. It had been a long time since we got together like this. I'm still making progress and achieve little victories here and there. There are days I still can't believe I had a stroke. I'm hoping to get out of this stronger than before. I'm not naturally an optimistic and positive person. I try to change my mindset by doing little things like the text on the cake. I am in a few stroke survivor groups and they're all the "have a positive attitude " types. Drives me insane sometimes. Anyway, just wanted to share with you all! It was a good day
