Happy hump day! Just a downhill slide into the weekend. Any special plans? Yesterday "In the Kitchen," storm was busy making 14K carrot cake. In between all the other things she was knocking out. Dinner was a way to use leftover smoked salmon from Savannah's omlette's. Sooooo, I through together a fettuccine pasta dish.
Sauteed crimini mushrooms, capers, broccoli, white onion, garlic, bell pepper, black pepper, merlot (splash), butter to finish the sauce. Topped it with the thinly sliced smoked salmon while everything was hot off the stove. Turn out great.
What did you have going on in your kitchen? Maybe your kitchen was outside on the grill. Maybe it was in someone elses kitchen. Whatever the case, have fun and be creative.
