Here's to new beginnings and transformation. Hope you are having or had a fabulous day. Speaking of transformation, I transformed chicken bomes from the freezer, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, bay leaf, black pepper, sea salt, turmeric, smoked paprika, white cabbage, and pearl barely into a fantsdtic soup.
Wow! That was the long way to go to say "I made chicken soup." Anyway, it was delish and perfect for the colder night with some rain. You know that wet stuff that falls from the sky that California has been missing for a couple months. glad to see it back.
Served the soup with a sourdough pita. Since I had the day off, we took some leftover salmon and some crimini mushroom and made a delish omlette. Threw in an ounce or so of jack cheese. Yum! So what was going on in your kitchen(s)? Making weather specific meals? Or just the same old fare? Have a blessed and prosperous dayfellow foodies.
