Long weekend with today being a paid holiday in the US. No not Valentine's Day. Observation of Lincoln's Birthday.
Anyway. "In the Kitchen" this weekend was a bunch of things. Firday's dinner was Alaskan cod fish tacos. Savannah wanted them. Saturday morning smoothie and Sourdough bread and pita making. Bread was caramelized onion and garlic. Dinner was fish taco salad.
Breakfast smoothies again for Sunday. Lunch Sunday was leftover split pea soup for Savannah and myself. Storm had an omelette with bell pepper, onion, ham, avocado and asiago cheese. Sunday dinner was a veggie stirfry over turmeric basmati rice.
How was your weekend in the kitchen? Anyone do anything for the Superbowl. I don't even know who was playing. LOL! Post up and share. Have a fabulous day!
