👻checkin Sunday 16-1-22

Hey there again all you lovely blenderbuddies! Another 👻ing day for me…. an opportunity for all of us to chat with all of us. I really appreciate these checkins set up by Kim and so diligently kept up by Raven and Kim. You two lovely ladies are a super team!!!

Now on to the purpose of this post: What are you doing today? Anything goes, right? As long as you enjoy it. And of course the important “listen to your body” is another determiner of our activities. Mine today is hiking! Hubs and me are going to Golden Cap, a beautiful area to the west of here, for a day of wonderful hiking. Hence the early checkin and probably late reply. That hike might be followed with a nice stretch tonight. So is yours a stretch today, a hike, a bike ride, a swim, a workout, a program day, a rest? I am trying to do Strong 2, but 😱I reschedule ALL the time. How are you with FB programmes, a religious follower or a freestyler?

I guess following or freestyling can also go for food… yay, a link! Are you a religious follower of recipes or a freestyler when it comes to food. I am notoriously bad at following a recipe, usually swapping ingredients left right and centre 😱🙈🙃! Today I am going to make autumn risotto, a recipe from my daughter-in-law. She loves cooking and has made up quite a few recipes. This risotto is with beetroot and celeriac. I have made it before: a fair bit of work but so yummy and a beautiful pink colour as well! Photo for today: Certainly another “walking past, wait… I have to take a photo” moment! Quite a while ago a storm threw up a fair amount of sand. I thought this looked beautiful. Not so sure if the fisherman who uses this boat almost daily thought the same🤭🤣!
