Hello Blendfriends. I hope you are getting a good start to your Saturday. My week was pretty packed, so I'm glad to have arrived at Saturday, where my only plan is to enjoy a nice long workout this morning with nowhere to be afterwards. It is, again, super cold out ("feels like" -34C), which makes it a very good day to sweep the house, make some good hot food, and generally stay cozy☕!
All the talk lately about the Strong 2 program (which I am currently enjoying) made me want to find a good strength quote for today, and here's the one that resonated with me the most.
"Strength doesn't come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't." (Rikki Rogers)
This kind of strength can come in so many areas in your life! For me, I'm keeping it simple -- it's Saturday and I'm allowed -- and it's just going to mean I don't swap out the push up interval in Amanda's infamous strength workout that I am about to start 😅.
