Hope you are ready for the Holiday (if you celebrate). Did you make sure you got on to Santa's nice list? Hopefully so! Yesterday in our kitchen was busier than Wednesday. Storm made some chocolate peanut clusters with smoked sea salt. I added some smoked chili flake to three of them. They are yummy with the little bit of heat. Also, a few dipped pretzels for fun.
Breakfast smoothie: oat milk, oat meal, dates, prunes, orange slices, mango, banana, fresh greens, and some yogurt. It was pretty tasty.
A small plate of leftover chinese for lunch as the smoothie hung on for quite a while. Dinner was linguini with fresh homegrown shiitake and oyster mushrooms, garlic, EVOO, butter, and fresh sage from the garden. I decided to make a focaccia bread to go with dinner. Fresh rosemary from the yard, black olive, EVOO, smoked sea salt, black pepper, and a sprinkling of shredded parmesan. That turned out amazing. Dinner was fabulous.
So, what did you have going on in your kitchen(s) yesterday? Baking all day? Getting ready for family? Give us a peek into you culinary world.
