Hope your day is starting out well or ending fabulous. Either way, you are here for another bite at the apple, so to speak. Yesterday in our kitchen was pretty good. Earlier in the day Storm pre-roasted some butternut squash. Then for dinner we combined efforts and made another variation of the sausage stuffing.
This time it was sweet Italian sausage, bell pepper, onion, garlic (of course garlic), cheese, bread crumb, egg, parsley and sage. It was delish but the squash flesh was a smidge dry. We surmised it was the sausage being fully cooked and not adding the extra moisture to the dish as the ground sausage before it had.
Either way, yummy and filling. So what was going on "In the Kitchen" at your home? Prepping for the big hosting event? Clearing room with leftovers from the fridge for the Christmas goose? Do people actually do roast goose for Christmas? If you do, please share. Have a blessed and prosperous day!
