🎉 Tomorrow, I wrap up FB Low Impact. Not one workout missed, but lots of modifications. A blend of yoga/pilates, recovery stretching, HIIT, low impact cardio, walking, resistance training through body weight, active stretching (a favorite!), light weights. I’ve pushed myself to discomfort, but have been rewarded with endorphins while also listening to what my body was communicating on a daily basis. I’ve become stronger, more limber; I’ve been able to heal three injured muscles. My core is strong which means my posture is improved and my hips are now better aligned. I’ve always struggled to be able to do a narrow squat, but as a result of more properly aligned hips, a strong core, and a stronger lower body today I was able to do a proper narrow squat — it was thrilling! My mind is clearer, my judgement is better, my body craves attention whatever the activity of the day might be. I’m in the best shape of my life and I’m just getting started 🙂
