Hi all, After 3 years of a an hour and 45 minute commute one-way, 3-5 days per week; I have secured a position (with a promotion!) that I am able to work from home. It's been about 6 weeks and I'm still soring out my morning routine.
I'd love to hear about yours! What do you do? What parts do you find most enjoyable?
Here's mine:
1) Wake up (515) and hear the coffee maker start (530) (hooray for programming!)
2) Drink coffee
3a) MWF do 5 minutes stretches and head to the pool for deep water aerobics book camp.
3b) TuTh do 5-15 minutes of stretches light cardio and start work day earlier because of starting later on MWF.
3) Around 830 or 9 eat breakfast
I've given up a commute, so I do occasionally think I should be a little more productive - but for now this feels good, and I get other workouts in at lunch or the weekends.
For enjoyment: I love sipping coffee for a few minutes before I leave the house while things are quiet and my head is clear. I typically read for a few minutes also.
Also, I LOVE the water, as do my joints. The pool is what keeps me motivated to work out on land.
