I got myself a puppy three weeks ago, and while it’s been mostly wonderful, I am struggling working out with the puppy in the house. He keeps coming on my mat, jumping onto me and trying to play with my weights or bands. Isolating him in his crate on the other hand makes him scream non-stop, which is a bit of an issue in an apartment building.
I’m sure this will get easier with time, but I’d love to hear if any of you had some advice. How can I get my dog just to chill in the same room where I work out without him playing with my weights or coming to lick my face when I’m laying down? My flat isn’t very big so I can’t really put him in another room either.
He’s getting plenty of attention and enough exercise himself so that shouldn’t be the culprit - I think he’s just curious as any puppy would be, but it’s really starting to effect my workouts 😅
