On the job front, I had an interview today with my old employer/supervisor. I worked as a transcriptionist at our local hospital system for a little over 6 years, until, in 2015, voice recognition came along. The vast majority of the staff was laid off. I had the choice to stay, but decided to go back to college instead.
Last week, I received a call from a former coworker (and friend), saying they need help. They are no longer doing voice recognition, either. So, I applied earlier this week and received a phone call yesterday. The recruiter even knows my parents (both worked at the hospital). 🤣 What a small world!
Anyways, I ask for prayers, please, regarding this potential job. I will be keeping my job with Habitat for Humanity. The hospital is willing to work around my schedule. And, I get to work 100% from home. My current supervisor is even writing a letter of recommendation.
Also, prayers for my dad, please. His piriformis syndrome is getting worse, and he is starting to have more bad days than good. But, on the flip side, there is still no sign of cancer recurrence. 🙂
And, prayers for my aunt, please. She will be traveling to New Jersey in a few days to see old friends, and to scatter my mom’s ashes at the Jersey Shore. 🌷

On the bright side, my other aunt and I have repaired our relationship. 😁

Update!!
My lungs have been acting up the last 2 days, so I decided to take a single dose of prednisone tonight. What a miracle drug!
I felt so good that I decided to tackle one of Tasha’s workouts. 🥵 😁
