NSV! I've reached the maximum weight of my dumbbells
It's been about a year since I started working out with FB, and since I started weight lifting. Back then the heaviest dumbbells I had were a pair of 8 lbs.
As I got motivated more and more with FB workout, last fall I invested in a set of adjustable dumbbells whose maximum was 33 lbs per hand. When I was buying them I thought I would never need to use the highest end, at least for the next few years, but I was wrong!
Last night I tried deadlift with 33 lbs per had for the first time and found I could do it! I feel so accomplished. Clearly I was underestimating the potential of my body :)
Now the question is... what should I do if I reach the point of outweighing my dumbbells, though just for deadlift :P I don't want to buy heavier dumbbells for the next 2-3 years because I know I'll need to move after finishing my doctoral study. (Also they are kinda big ticket item for student salary.) I want and do not want to outweigh my dumbbells lolol
