I know I have said this multiple times but I just can't get over how much I've been learning, doing and enjoying since I've started physical therapy. It's truly amazing. I never knew it could be this informative and interesting. I really like physical therapy is one of those things you have to experience yourself to truly understand how it is and works.
It's crazy how sore I am just from doing the exercises. People weren't kidding when they said I would be sore. Honestly, I love it. I know I hear that soreness doesn't really tell you how hard your working or indicate that but for me personall I like the feeling. No I'm not someone who enjoys pain like that. What I mean is I'm glad there's a way to know that I have because without soreness I would never know how hard I work or if I'm doing something right.
I'm making progress and I'm happy. Little progress is still progress. I was able to do some stretching videos from FitnessBlender. Although some stretches are still a bit too much for me and exercise in general I was able to go into a downward dog. I couldn't stretch out my legs entirely but I still could do it. I couldn't stay in it for long because too long and my wrists would feel uncomfortable but I still did it. I also could point my toes when doing certain things without pain too.
I also got some new exercises to do as well:
- Sliding Wall Squats
- Bridges
- Hip Flexor Stretches
- Core Compresses
- Lean Backs/Back Bends
They are brutal but will be worth it in the end. Not only will these help with my pain but my posture will be better too.
