May Calendar, FB Fit Progress & Filming

I almost forgot to share my May calendar! I have been really busy - steadily chipping away at the FB Fit Program (R3) and filming new workouts. We also planted our garden, which ends up being quite the workout. I'll share some pictures of our garden with you all soon - I cannot wait to start eating what we've been growing!

With my next workout, I'll officially be moving into my last week of FB Fit. I surprised myself the other day when I found myself looking forward to the 1000 calorie workout at the end of the program. My biggest gain so far is what I mentioned the other day, about reduced post workout soreness and faster recovery times in between workouts. I have been wishing and working on this ever since I started to feel better and I finally feel like I'm covering real ground in this aspect (YES!). Also, when I'm moving through different exercises lately, I feel different, in a good way - as if my base/core is more stable. Maybe even in a way that surpasses what I felt pre-health crisis. I think it's a combo of focusing on the "boring but important" for the last few years (PT, Pilates, stretching, basic functional moves, etc), and now being able to finally more reliably workout, more intensely. Either way, I'm thrilled and motivated to just keep at it.

Once I'm done with Fit I'm going to add the Reach Challenge to my calendar - I could really use the stretching and postural work and I love the idea of working on it daily, in small, easily digestible bits.

Now that I've given you my unsolicited workout-life story, feel free to share yours! I'd love to hear what you're working on and I love hearing about your own successes and victories, no matter the size. I've been seeing posts about people finishing up the Fit Program and I do a little tiny happy dance each time 😁💃 But honestly I do that whenever I see any of you complete any program or challenge.

Next week is going to be a very exciting week here at FB. We have a new free workout going live on Monday, and new Plus workouts coming Tuesday & Wednesday - mark your calendars! There are some great site updates you may notice in the near future, as well (we'll share those with you early next week).

One more thing - you wont have to wait much longer to see what surprise we've been hinting at for a while now. You should know that our whole team is bursting at the seams to share this, and I think you're all going to be very excited when you find out what's happening.
