Since the new year, I've been making sure to eat healthy whole foods, with a reasonable calorie deficit and consistently using fb programs to work out. Im working out about 5-6 days a week. I've noticed an improvement in my strength, feel and look more toned/have more muscle definition and I even look a little smaller too (mom said it looks like I've lost weight)
Well I weighed myself for the first time since then and I've only lost 3 pounds 😳 I thought I would have lost more than that. I know the scale isn't everything and is actually not a good tool but it's making me question if maybe I'm doing something wrong? My goal is to slim down a bit but also get fit.
Is it possible I'm losing fat and gaining muscle, causing my weight to roughly stay the same? I try to remind myself to focus on how I feel mentally and physically and not care about the scale but it's hard 😔
Not sure if I'm posting in the right topic..just looking for insight~
Confused about my progress
