I’ve never really been a runner and have historically hated every moment of running😂. Until very recently.
I feel this is due to FB’s workouts. I finally enough strength and endurance to have a fighting chance with running. So I’ve been introducing it into my exercise routine a couple times a week since March 2021, running one mile then some burnout Pilates or something along those lines.
Finally today I thought, let’s try to do a bit more than just 1 mile! (Slowly working my way up to the *lofty* goal of a 5K)
So I tried running 1.5 miles, and I actually made it! Lol i know it doesn’t sound like much to a runner. But I was so happy to be able to add that bit, and keep the same approximate pace of 10:00!
Now I’ll try to keep running 1.5 miles each run until I’m comfortable with that, before adding more. Consistency is where it’s at!
Thanks for reading and celebrating this small yet real NSV!
