Perspiration Pals - 5/8/21 β˜•

Hello and welcome back to another P Pals thread! It's about 7ish here eastern standard time and the weather forecast says we're in for a chilly, rainy Saturday. But I'll make myself a coffee with some steamed milk shortly and retreat to my bed for another hour or so to read and snuggle with the kitties, so it's all good. Plus Remy and I got our long walk to the river in yesterday evening (pic below).

Tomorrow is Mother's Day in the US and in order to avoid the crowds at the restaurants, we're doing some celebrating early. I'm taking my mom and grandma out for a late-ish breakfast today and I think my husband and kids are taking me out for dinner tonight. Which means...no cooking and minimal dishes all day! Woohoo!

After my rest week last week, I had planned to continue doing yoga 2 evenings a week, key word here being planned. I haven't managed one session this week. When I'm sticking to a 5 a.m. workout routine, I just seem to want to retreat to my bed ASAP in the evenings. But I will try to do at least one short yoga video this weekend. I know it's good for my mental balance.
